Our current dogs have been our most challenging pets, healthwise, that we have ever had. The staff at River Road has worked with us over the past few years to identify their health issues and find the best ways to manage them via medication, diet and care. We appreciate all they have done for us and can’t imagine going anywhere else for our pets healthcare.”

“My husband and I just recently brought in our lab/shepherd mix. She is a rescue and has some anxiety when meeting new people. I was IMPRESSED with the way the front desk staff and Dr. Hedman dealt with our pup. They were calm and sweet to her and coaxed her with peanut butter, cheese, and a tennis ball. Needless to say, she did not bark once at any staff member which is a huge win for us and she felt calm and comfortable the entire time. The staff worked hard with her and even gave us a “she’s so sweet” comment which means the world. We were on a waitlist at another vet, but cancelled it because she loves it at river road! We cannot begin to express our admiration for this place.”

“I have been to River Road Animal Hospital about 5 times now. I moved here from Texas with a very old sick dog. I have seen three of the vets and love them all. Especially love Dr. Pam. They have been very helpful, attentive and helpful with the problems we have been having. The pricing is very reasonable and I would recommend them highly to anyone with an animal. The ladies in the front are all very nice and we always go in very quickly. Basically thank God every time we go because I don’t know how we got so lucky to move 2500 miles and find such good care for my sweet baby. Love them.”

“This Hospital is definitely the best around our area. We have tried other Hospitals when our Shihtzu got sick and needed surgery. The surgery was going to cost us over $5,000.00 so we decided to go to River Road Animal Hospital. What a surprise when we found out it was going to cost less than a thousand dollars. We do have our favorite Vet. there so a Big shout out to Dr. Lisa Hedman. She has definitely went above and beyond for our Boys. Even though it is a little bit of a drive for us we will always be taking our Boys to River Road Animal Hospital.”
